I have chose to start a blog in order to start something where we can talk about what is on our minds when it comes to being the spouse of someone who is in law enforcement. It is a tough job that they have which can sometimes make it tough on those they love and care about the most. I have been the wife of a law enforcement officer for 12 years. And over the years I have learned many lessons. And for me the number one lesson is that I can not worry about my spouse when He is on duty because I still have my own duties (children) to take care of and contend with. I love my husband and what he does. I am supportive in his career because I want him to be safe and continue what he loves to do.
I am really excited to be able to start this support system. Because sometimes we as the spouses of law enforcement can only understand each other in ways that no one else can.
